Steel Wire Rope Design and manufacturing procedures
Design of different wire rope constructions for cranes, elevators, scaffolds, general applications.

The design is done using a propietary system. It includes wire diameters, grades, lay lengths and all necessary parameters needed for production in order to achive reliable and consistent results consistant with the requirements.

If you are designing a machine that uses wire rope and you have no experience in that field, you better consult an expert before you design.
Mistakes made in the designing stage are very hard and very costly to fix once the design is finished, or worse, when the prototype is done.
When using existing machines that use wire ropes, too often operators or maintanence personel make misatakes that cause wire ropes to fail prematurelly due to lack of knowledge or training.
Proper selection, installation and maintenence can increase rope life significantly, resulting in cost savings and less machine downtime.
